Work

Six engagements, one of them with the numbers attached.

Strategy work led by our founder, Mido Alhouseini — some as contract engagements, some through Riipen Level Up placements with the Government of Canada, and one business he co-founded and marketed himself. Each entry says which, because the difference matters when you're deciding whether to trust us.

Strategy

Market entry · Contract engagement, 2026 – present

Van Oven Inc.

Market research · Positioning · Go-to-market

A Vancouver wholesale bakery launching Iraqi and Levantine breads — Samoon, Kmaj, and Pita — into the Canadian market. The work was the full market-entry strategy: who to sell to, in what order, and why they would buy.

  • Market sizing, diaspora demographics, and a competitor teardown across BC, Alberta, and the Pacific Northwest
  • Positioning built on real white space — no wholesale Samoon producer exists in Western Canada
  • Three products, three jobs: Pita opens the door, Samoon locks the account in, Kmaj widens the base
  • A tiered wholesale account plan, pricing benchmarks, and a retail-to-wholesale proof loop to de-risk the launch

Live. A 15-part package spanning brand identity, research, packaging, website, and digital strategy, delivered against a launch in progress.

User acquisition · Riipen Level Up placement, 2026

Sayyara

Market research · Acquisition campaign · Brand guidelines

A $99-a-month shop-management platform for independent auto repair shops, with a product ready and no early users. The task was to get the first ones through the door.

  • Market and competitive research across the independent auto-repair software category
  • The Founder Partner Program — free platform access for fifteen shops in exchange for usage feedback
  • A three-stage Meta Ads funnel to drive signups ahead of paid conversion
  • The existing brand refined into documented guidelines, plus a cover, feature, and pricing ad template set

Delivered to the founder. Not yet deployed at the time of writing.

Growth strategy · Riipen Level Up placement, 2025

Noorify Counselling

B2B referral strategy · Website audit · Ethics framework

A child and youth counselling practice growing on word of mouth alone. Marketing a therapy practice is not like marketing anything else, so the strategy had to work inside that constraint rather than around it.

  • A B2B referral strategy mapping partner categories — clinics, physio, naturopaths, doulas, family law, faith spaces — with a named prospect list across the Lower Mainland
  • A website audit covering CTA structure, navigation, per-service pages for search, and social proof placement
  • A social growth plan, SEO and blog strategy, and a six-month workshop calendar built as an awareness channel
  • A marketing ethics framework: no fear-based messaging, no outcome guarantees, confidentiality throughout

The website recommendations were adopted and implemented. Flyers, business cards, and social promos were delivered alongside.

Program design · Riipen Level Up placement, 2025

IITTI — World Civility Index

Ambassador program design · Campus awareness

IITTI certifies soft skills through its World Civility Index and needed campus awareness and signups. The answer was a student ambassador program, designed end to end.

  • Eligibility, selection, training, and advocacy structure for the ambassador program
  • Positioned as an awareness-and-signup channel, with students promoting the credential to peers
  • A/B variants of the campus recruitment poster to carry the program

Owned business · Co-founder, 2024 – 2026

Pampered Auto Care Ltd.

All marketing · Search-led channel mix

A mobile detailing business Mido co-founded and marketed. With a tight budget he put spend on high-intent Google Search rather than brand-building on social, and handled the bookings himself — so the plan and the outcome sit in the same pair of hands.

Google Search, 7 April – 7 July 2025. The tracked figures are search only. The 25 conversions were mostly booking-page visits and call-button clicks, not a count of finished jobs. Email automation, door-to-door flyers, and a short Meta Ads test rounded out the mix.

Ongoing content · Volunteer, 2024 – 2025

KMK Living & Mabel Brewing

Social content · Newsletter · Analytics

Day-to-day social content across platforms, the bi-weekly newsletter, and performance tracking used to steer what got made next — the closest thing here to what monthly growth support looks like in practice.
